Doing animal sacrifice by submitting qurban, has a deep wisdom, which is: duplicating something that has been done by our previous prophets and it also means giving alms to the poor
How this process began? A few days before Eid al-Adha, sellers who sell animals for qurban provide lambs, cows and buffaloes. The buyers who come to see and select qurban according with the needs and financial capabilities they want to spend.
After getting a suitable animal qurban, they register themselves as participants by mentioning the name, address and type of animals they will leave, to the committee that receives qurban for Eid al-Adha. They need to pay the cost of maintenance and slaughter qurban
At that moment a partisipant, that contribute qurban will be asked if there is a part on qurban that they want to take, such as the thigh
Finally, the whole meat from animals qurban will be distributed to the people who have been assigned by showing the coupon issued from the organizing committee qurban. ( Dd/Indonesia On The Move )
